About ÂײÝÊÓƵ Schools
The Board of Education and administration recognize the individuality of each child and believe that all children can learn in an educationally sound and supportive environment.
Approximately 1,760 students attend pre-kindergarten through fifth grade in four elementary schools. Elementary school years are important because they lay the foundation for future learning.
The middle schools consist of grades six through eight and utilize the educational model proposed by the New York State Board of Regents for the schooling of early adolescents. Approximately 900 students receive instruction from a team of teachers. Programs in English, social studies, science, math and world language are provided with an emphasis on interdisciplinary instruction. Opportunities to explore an interest in art, music, science research, technology and computer are also available at various grade levels.
The high school, which houses about 1,300 students, offers over 200 courses, including Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate, Syracuse University Project Advance and other college level courses. 75% of graduates go on to four-year colleges and 76% of our students receive a Regents Diploma with Advanced Designation. ÂײÝÊÓƵ High School has been designated as a United States Department of Education National Blue Ribbon School in 2020 and has received the New York State Seal of Biliteracy for five straight years.
